Friend deleted two of my emails without reading them--what does this mean?

We are mainly email buddies, sometimes emailing each other all day about current events %26amp; also we kid around. We started out as friends because of having the same common interest, talking about the news. We're not close, but we sure enjoy bantering back %26amp; forth. We used to email each other %26amp; our other coworkers, all together, discussing current topics in the news, but the others pretty much have dropped off. Recently it has mainly been he %26amp; I. He always has been the type to respond to my emails within seconds, which I'm so used to. It seemed we were addicted to emailing each other because of being tired of our jobs. Last week I emailed him two %26quot;group%26quot; emails, one being a news article (regarding a topic he has always been interested in) %26amp; one was a joke email. I saw within seconds he had deleted them without reading them (I have that email option at work, which I'm sure he doesn't know about, where I can see if someone has read my email or deleted it without reading and practically no one uses the option here or even knows about it). I found this change in his pattern unusual, although three times in the past I did just drop off of emailing him and the rest of the people in our group as I wanted to give everyone a breather, given we're all so busy at work, yet bored at the same time. He %26amp; a couple of others asked me what was going on about a week or so later, so I started the emails up again. I am almost always the initiator of the emails. I almost always start the discussions and the jokes, so I feel sometimes I might be a pest, although everyone in our email group tells me how much they love the emails. Do you find it strange he deleted my two emails without reading them? He would have been able to see the subject matter of the emails and possibly even the first two sentences of them if he uses auto preview. For all he knows, I sent the emails just to him, not to a few people. You could say they were chain emails. I wonder if he is too busy at work to even bother reading the emails. He used to say he didn't care if he was busy, he loved emailing that much. We don't work in the same department. I know for a fact he isn't mad at me. We had just been emailing each other three days prior %26amp; everything was normal. I often worry that my friends will desert me, even though they hardly EVER do, so that is why I'm worried about this friend of mine deleting my emails. I won't talk to him about it or contact him again, as I don't want to be rejected. I won't check to see if he has emailed me either. I feel if he wants to talk to me, he knows where to find me. Oh, we've been friends for about six months. We do talk in person %26amp; on the phone, but we don't hang out. Do you think it means anything based on the fact he deleted my emails without reading them? Do you think he may want to end our friendship by disappearing?Friend deleted two of my emails without reading them--what does this mean?he read them in the preview paneFriend deleted two of my emails without reading them--what does this mean? Not going to read all that but it clearly means he or she is not interested in being your friend.Friend deleted two of my emails without reading them--what does this mean?I didn't bother reading the whole thing, its too long. If you just forward crap and not clean it up, I'd delete it too. I hate getting junk mail. Friend deleted two of my emails without reading them--what does this mean?if they come like that I'm not surprised , sorry too long to read all way throughFriend deleted two of my emails without reading them--what does this mean?maybe he was just busy or maybe he thinks your emailing too much but doesnt like to say.

It could be he has been getting pressure from senior staff to quit emailing quite so much so deleted your emails to save further troubleFriend deleted two of my emails without reading them--what does this mean? While scanning, the %26quot;You could say they were chain emails.%26quot; sentence really popped out.

He's probably deleting them because no one likes junk mail. I can't blame him at all. If you want him to read what you write, making it worth reading.Friend deleted two of my emails without reading them--what does this mean?I am never such a bastard answering people asking for advice... but my opinion is that you should get a life. Email is just a tool for life, not a thing you should be worrying about like you just have... Do you know that you spent 5 minutes writing this question? I wonder how many more minutes have you wasted thinking about it...

Really, as an honest advice... focus on more important things, like work, partner, etc... And you sound pretty weird, because you said you were not even close. Why do you care if he reads an email... Did you ask him something important? No... forget about it and move on. You sound like a drama-queen/king.
