I am 16 years old and my father passed away a little over a year ago. My mother gave me his wedding ring and I want to wear it with me all the time somehow. The ring is too big for me and I don't want to change it by getting it sized. I want to keep it just the way it is. I've tried putting it on a chain around my neck, but necklaces aren't really for me and I don't know how to take care of something that's around my neck all the time. I will end up breaking it or losing it. The ring is just a typical silver band. No diamonds or anything fancy. Just a band. Will I scratch it up if I do this?
